What is it like to go to a Clothing Optional resort?

It is just like going to any other resort - only naked!  We cater to all kind of interests ranging from nude sailing and snorkeling to spa services, volleyball, basketball, etc. Of course, you can just lay on the beach or around the pool and read a book too - you just go home without tan lines!

What kind of people go to Clothing Optional Resorts?

All kinds of people!  Our guests represent a broad cross section of people, from professionals to laborers, old to young and wild to mild.  Generally you will find the atmosphere at Rocalta to be more relaxing and laid back than others in Negril.  We have just 30 Sea-View Rooms on two acres of waterfront property!

What is the difference between "clothing optional" and "nude" resorts?

The term "clothing optional" refers to resorts where clothing is just that - optional. You may choose to keep your clothes on or not. It is worth noting that most people at Clothing Optional Resorts go without their clothes.

Can women just go topless?

Of course!  Though most women quickly become comfortable with being naked, a woman choosing to keep her bottom on is fairly common.

What about Families?

At Rocalta, we have no set minimum age policy.  Keep in mind that our waterfront is along a low rock cliff.  There are about ten steps down to the sea which is usually quite calm, but it is deep.  Our pool is 3.5 feet at the shallow end and 10.5 feet at the deep end.  We have plenty to do and young people will not be bored.  But, use your discretion about whether our facility is appropriate for the age and swimming ability of your children.  No cribs are provided.
